Ernst Haeckel
Recently, I came across an article titled Ernst Haeckel’s Sublime Drawings of Flora & Fauna: The Beautiful Scientific Drawings That Influenced Europe’s Art Nouveau Movement (1889) on openculture.com which led me on a bit of a search for more of this amazing work. I love these intricate images full of vibrance and detail – just stunning!
And then I found this wonderful little site: haeckel.tilda.ws/en (by Lena Svintsova) — I’m adding a screencast here just to preserve the site for posterity ツ Just in case it ever gets lost or taken down.
Thank you to Lena for giving me permission to post the screencast ツ
